COREY BLAKE acted in more than a dozen national commercial campaigns (including Mountain Dew, Pepsi, McDonalds, Wrigley’s, Hasbro, and Mitsubishi) and made appearances on popular TV shows (The Shield, Joan of Arcadia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Diagnosis Murder, VIP, and Fastlane) before he ended his lucrative commercial and television acting career to pursue his passion for writing and producing. 

In 2000, Corey founded Elevation 9000 Films and went on to spearhead the original Elevation 9000 Film Lab that eventually inspired a motion picture production company, LA Film Lab Entertainment, and Writers of the Round Table Inc., ( www.writersoftheroundtable.com ), a literary development and author management company of which he is the founder and president.  (click here for full bio) 

For the past eight years, Corey has played a key role in the development of more than three hundred screenplays and manuscripts. He has won nine festival awards for his work in entertainment and contributed articles to nearly three dozen industry publications including Script Magazine, Writer Magazine (cover article July 2006, Creating Convincing Characters), and the Los Angeles Journal. Corey’s work as a writer and development producer has been featured in articles in Backstage West, MovieMaker Magazine, Hollywood Scriptwriter Magazine and Dance Magazine.
